Great Unclean One

This is a Kromlech "Rotten Butcher" AKA: Great Unclean One

He was a blast to paint. I used a few different techniques: airbrush,drybrush,heavy washes, and some chipping. I wanted a more realistic effect on this beast!

Brains for the brain god

It is done. After a huge final push to prep for AdeptiCon....I finally finished this Chaos army!

The army features 110 zombies, 40 traitor guard, and all those fun vehicles. This force features a very competitive grouping of models, ranging from the super nasty hell drakes to endless hordes of zombies.

It can be played at 2000 points and 1850 points very effectively but it also scales back to 1500 points. I painted 2 manticores in case I ever switch to Imperial Guard as the primary detachment over Chaos in smaller games. I plan on listing this force on Ebay very soon , any one interested should email me at 40kwreckingcrew@gmail.com

Soul Drinkers part 1

This is the first part of a very large commission. We chose an alternate take on “soul drinkers” . The army is going to be a “counts-as” space marine army capable of playing as SM,BT, and any combination in between. Enjoy the pics!

I will also have to apply it to vehicles, including but not limited to Hell Drake's. I am happy with the contrast and brightness of these colors and look forward to painting an entire army this way.

Remeber the Titans

The Titans were greater than the Gods in mythology. An apt name for these Gods of War that stride the battlefields of the 41st millennium dealing death with no equal. Here is the completed Reaver Titan with his bodyguard Warhound Titan. These two were done up in a very eye catching color scheme, because when your the size of a small skyscraper, who needs camouflage?

Super Giant Robots!!! Warhound Titan

Up this week is the first of two Titans we here at Next Level Painting are working on. These Titans are an extension of the Death Korp of Krieg army we just finished. Stay tuned for a complete article on the construction and painting of the Warhound Titan.

Red Scorpions Duece

Our most recent commission is a second detachment to the Red Scorpions army we did before. This army was fun to do since it had the new Storm Talons and the Caestuss Ram from Forge World. A nice combination of armor and infantry.

Death Korp of Krieg pt 2 Boots to the Ground!

Here is the much anticipated second part to the DKoK army. The amount of infantry is staggering. All together this makes the largest army ever painted by Next Level Painting.
